Louise and Steve welcome you to the relaxed atmosphere, our home, Sandy Lane, a warm, comfortable 1930's family B&B overlooking peacefull Colwell Common, Isle of Wight.  We are only a 4 minute walk from the gentle, golden, sloping sands of Colwell Bay beautiful with its shallow, emerald waters ideal for swimming and views across to Hurst Castle and its Light house. 

Sandy Lane is perfectly situated for exploring the island on foot, bike by bus or car.  Relax with a walk along the promenade to Totland, or take the Warren Walk from Totland to Alum bay and the historic Needles, or across to Tennyson Down. 

Open all year round we offer en-suite accommodation, dry storage for bikes and equipment, free wireless internet access, tide times and daily weather reports are available and a small library of children's books and pre school toys, plenty of buckets and spades and even a kite.  Our "superb breakfast" is cooked fresh to order and sourced locally where possible.
